Job Description:

We have an immediate need for an experienced Automotive Technician, that excels in diagnostics. This exciting opportunity may be right up your alley if you like challenging work and you are able to solve developmental issues with vehicle electrical/electronic controls.

Day Shift
This position is located in Dearborn, MI.

Qualifications
3 or more years of automotive technician - mechanic experience
Operate in-vehicle data collection systems
Proficient electrical/electronic troubleshooting and workmanship skills using manual and automated methods
Ability to understand electronic schematics, PCB layout, and electronic part documentation
Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work with little or no supervision
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Perform instrumentation debugging
Verify equipment functionality (Ready for Test)
Experience with MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Possess a valid driver's license and excellent driving record
Able to work overtime during the week and on weekends when needed
Willing to travel when needed

Preferred Skills
Associate's degree in engineering technology or related
ASE certifications including A6
Automotive OBD II / CAN Bus interface familiarity
Familiarity with vehicle interrogation software and data collection
2+ years' experience performing vehicle testing for OEM or supplier in ADAS and/or Autonomy function and performance
