Job Description:

New opportunity for a-- -Warranty Claims Assessor! The right candidate will have a background in vehicle repair and a solid understanding of warranty-- -claims.Position Description: Responsible for reviewing selected warranty claims submitted by dealers and evaluating for appropriate payment.Skills Required: Technical proficiency with specific background in diagnosing and repairing motor vehicles' Transmissions in a shop environment. Ability to understand and apply OEM's Warranty & Policy manual as part of determining appropriate dealer reimbursement for warranty work. Ability to work in an office 'production' environment with minimal supervision. Ability to act in a fair, consistent, professional manner. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Skills Preferred: Familiarity with personal computers and use of Microsoft Office software.Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in-dealer experience as technician and/or service manager.Experience Preferred: OEM or other professional technical certification related to performing vehicle repairs.Education Required: Minimum high school diploma or GED.Education Preferred: College or technical certification or degree.
