Minimum Requirements: -High school diploma or GED. -Eighteen (18) years of age. -Professional experience using Windows operating system and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access) and Adobe Acrobat Reader. -Willing to work a varying schedule to meet the needs of the position (occasional evening, weekend or overtime may be required). Preferred Experience: (related to any area described below) -A consulting company evaluating designs or drafting plans for completeness and accuracy -Wireless telecommunications projects, outside plant or mapping operations for fiber optic networks and fiber design. -Reading and understanding operation manuals, technical drawings, and complex schematics. -Interacting with quality control of drafting, engineering, zoning or construction departments -National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and/or other applicable industry standards. -Developing or analyzing drawings and specifications for utility system projects zoning maps, tax maps, or other maps for properties, surveying or mapping. Employer Notes: -Employment is contingent on passing a criminal background search and a 5-panel drug screening. -The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, who can inspect/evaluate work performed by design drafters, field crews; providing markups/redlines (corrections) to drafting plans following very specific and detailed procedures. Job Duties: -Ensure the quality of work performed on assigned projects meets contracts specifications and/or industry standards and company standards of quality control. -Analyze and investigate quality issues to ensure company guidelines and regulatory requirements are met. -Monitor and maintain error matrix data and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management. -Provide training and support to drafting and permitting teams on systems, policies, procedures, and processes. -Interacts with multiple departments and entities to ensure adequate QC Department support. -Manage the flow of each job utilizing a project tracking report to ensure that the customer due dates are met. -Interpersonal skills to effectively work with people of all backgrounds and disciplines and strong verbal and written communication skills.
