Position Description:

As a Technical IT Site Management Team Member at Client, you will be an integral part of our on-site IT team responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' Infrastructure.

You will work closely with other IT Site Manager and contribute your technical expertise to maintain and optimize IT systems.

This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.




Key Responsibilities:

-- - Management and maintenance of on-site IT infrastructure.

-- - Collaborate with IT Service teams to plan and execute IT projects.

-- - Provide technical support to resolve on-site IT issues promptly.

-- - Monitor and report on the performance and security of IT systems.

-- - Participate in the implementation of IT best practices and improvements

-- - Assist with network troubleshooting and system upgrades

-- - Management of TCP/IP services

-- - Support of Ethernet/wiring connectivity technologies

-- - Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, MacOS, Ubuntu

-- - Collaborate with vendors and assist in IT equipment procurement

-- - Support of researchers' use of network services and software products in the laboratories (e.g. test equipment, and lab experiments), which may include developing special software or doing systems integration.

-- - Ability to lead technical teams and initiatives with minimum oversight.

-- - Adapt to changing requirements and find resolutions to new challenges.'



Skills Required:

-- - Demonstrates ability to resolve problems within a specific platform or technical discipline. Solid understanding of IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity.




Skills Preferred:

-- - Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information clearly.

Experience Required:

-- - 3 or more years of progressive responsibilities in IT with 2 or more years systems engineering or systems administration experience in a specific platform or technical discipline.




Experience Preferred:

Application Development Experience in different OS systems




Education Required:

-- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

-- - IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MCSA are a plus.
