• The individual will act as a Jira Bug/Defect Triage specialist.
• Work with x-functional issue reporters to understand newly raised issues, ensure accurate issue description, and that sufficient technical data is provided for troubleshooting.
• Assign initial priority based on expected issue impact, and facilitate a clean handoff to the correct functional teams who will deliver resolution.
• Coordinate reviews and communication to Technical Program Management(TPM) for highly critical issues and priority refinement.
• Assist TPM teams by monitoring issue progression through the bug workflow and identifying where there are stalls, or where help is needed.
• Assist in Jira process improvements relative to issue management, and educating TPM teams about the evolving Jira processes and toolset. Skills Required:
  • Self-directed with strong technical capability and problem solving skills
  • Experience resolving technical issues at system and interface level that impact base vehicle functions and or feature performance.
  • Strong communication skills within technical team, and ability to express issues to non-technical team members.
  • Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet based In-vehicle Network protocols and processes, and experience in using Network tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, ValueCAN, Ethernet tools)
  • Familiarity with Ford software release process
  • Ability to solve software issues by applying is/is not, fishbone diagram, 8-D, etc. Experience Required:
    • 3-5 years with electrical architectures, electrical systems, and automotive network topologies
    • Having Systems Engineering experience
    • Jira issue management / triage or scrum expertise. Experience Preferred:
      • Experience in automotive SW development.
      • Experience in working with global teams Education Required:
        • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Education Preferred:
          • Scrum Master certification Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
