As Ford continues to build a world-class Marketing organization, we are seeking a U.S. Digital Web Strategy Lead to lead a team of storytellers who are passionate about the impact of content on the customer experience. Partnering across U.S. Marketing, the Digital Web Strategy Lead will distill brand, campaign and nameplate message house and playbooks to the appropriate content activation strategy across U.S. Digital web. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious problem solver and results-oriented, managing a significant editorial calendar across and advising

You will develop the strategic vision for brand and campaign storytelling across digital properties with a primary focus on, ensuring brand consistency in tonality and establishing playbooks for segment/nameplate content teams to follow. You will guide a team of creative and content strategists in following these set standards to promote a consistent brand voice across segments/nameplates.

Success will require a mix of talent that collectively understands the customer (as people), dealers, service, credit, marketing & sales, product development, etc.

What you'll be able to do:

  • Drive the website content vision and establish cross segment/nameplate playbooks, working in a cross-functional capacity to identify and build on content opportunities across the ecosystem (Web, Mobile App, Tiers 1-3)
  • Advocate for the brand voice when partnering with channel/platform and vehicle segment leads in crafting micro-experiences across the customer journey
  • Partner with GDIA to identify and define clear and measurable critical metrics - continually testing and optimizing content for performance against established OKRs
  • Responsible for the cascading of reporting to US Marketing team members and leadership, sharing insights with Global Digital teams
  • Identify site audience and content strategies for targeted experiences within the brand sites (primary support across Owner and Prospect audience)
  • Responsible for content optimization on .com, including A/B and multi-variant testing
  • Responsible for leading a significant agency scope, including SEO authoring/tagging approach, content strategy, creation and optimization
  • Responsible for the Model Year Changeover process across and
  • Provide regional business requirements and roadmap prioritization to Global Digital teams, based on US priorities
  • Digital lead for developing connected customer journeys in partnership with Integrated Marketing, Media, CRM
  • Manage a significant budget for content strategy and creation, including Portable Data Model team management, CGI renderings and vehicle lifecycle content (reveal, launches and MYCO)
  • Manage agency/partner project execution of editorial calendar and optimization strategies, acting as the voice of the customer throughout the creative process
  • Identify non-automotive and automotive digital trends and innovations and develop use case opportunities
  • Be a strong people leader and problem solver, guiding a team through change and transformation with an eye on talent development, capability building and culture
  • Prepare executive level presentations and communications to gain alignment on the Re-imagine strategy and executional plans

    The minimum requirements we seek:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 8+ years of experience developing digital-based experiences, brand marketing and/or content strategy
    • 8+ years of experience across ad-tech, SEO, web technologies/platforms, analytics suites
    • 5+ years in a leadership role including managing large scopes of work and budget management experience

      Our preferred requirements:

      • Master's degree
      • Significant experience in developing testing scenarios, implementing and optimizing
      • Experience integrating experiences across channels and touchpoints to deliver an end-to-end connected journey for the customer
      • Business analysis and process mapping, requirements (user stories/acceptance criteria), and validation/test script development
      • Detailed understanding of the automotive industry, with experience in partnering with digital retailing and dealer solutions
      • Ability to understand existing business processes, reasons why they exist and build a roadmap for changing and modernizing to meet current customer demands
      • A passion for digital customer experience and providing solutions in service and across the customer lifecycle
      • Excellent communication skills with proven track record to lead and encourage teams
