Position Description: The software engineer role is critical in ensuring data integrity and availability. This position requires a PCF/Java developer with strong Java, Pyspark, and SQL skills who is familiar with Springboot API development. Collaborate closely with other seasoned developers and data scientists to create and maintain a single, complete, and actionable view of the vehicle data by supporting the landing, transforming, discovery, design, marketing, and development of our current and future products. Maintain leadership around enabling connectivity in the next generation of vehicles allowing the company to remain a technical leader in the automotive space. Skills Required: 5+ years Java Relevant database (MSSQL, SQL Server, HIVE). 5+ years' work experience in software development. Experience Preferred: Spring Cloud and Deploying production code on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF). Using Microservices to help with scalability of production code through APIs Kafka/streaming data technology. Highly effective in working with other technical experts, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business stakeholders. Effective communication skills with agile team members and business customers.
