System Analyst job in Dearborn, MI
Modis has an exciting opportunity for a top-notch IT professional –
a System Analyst job located in Dearborn, MI.
Our client is a Fortune 500 company and has been in the automotive

Position Description:
•Design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support
and/or project requirements
•Interface with business and IT teams to understand business
requirements and translate business requirements into formal
technical requirements and application code
•Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to
validate that application changes meet technical specifications
•Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and
participate in integration testing
•Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artifacts associated with
application components
•Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of
development
•Adhere to all security and control, Sarbanes-Oxley, and change
control processes
•Adhere to all Client processes, tools and methodologies
•Participate in production support/pager duty rotation including
weekend and off-hour support coverage
Skills Required:
•Excellent knowledge and
•5+ years of DB2/SQL experience
•5+ years of design, analysis and coding experience with COBOL and
JCL
•Strong working knowledge of IMS and CICS
•Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and planning
skills
•Strong testing discipline
•Able to function well as a team member, as well as, work
independently on assignments.
•High energy, motivated professional (results oriented and
self-starter)
•Experience with USDM/AGILE
•Knowledge of PUPS
•Experience with DB2 stored procedures
•Experience working with vendors
Education Required:
•B.S. in Computer Science or related field
