Job Description The HR Coordinator will perform duties at the professional level in all of the following functional areas: payroll, benefits administration and management, on-boarding, and employee relations. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of multi-tasking and relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. Position Responsibilities: -- Maintain all employee and applicant documentation and employee records. -- Ensure compliance with I-9 employment eligibility verification and periodically audits Forms I-9. -- Maintain employee personnel files and proper record keeping. -- Assist with policy development and documentation. -- Maintain current health benefits program. -- Monitor employee eligibility for benefits plans. -- Review benefits with employees and processes and assist with enrollments. -- Organize and assist with annual open enrollment communications and election process. -- Report, maintain, and monitor time and attendance for employees. -- Monitor, adjust and submit weekly payroll for all employees. -- Process payroll reports for agencies. Position Qualifications : -- Bachelor---s Degree or HR Certification (PHR, SPHR), preferred. -- 2 years--- HR experience; HRIS experience. -- Automotive manufacturing experience or related field. -- Basic knowledge of all HR disciplines including performance management, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, talent management, compensation, Health and Safety, etc. -- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization. -- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times. -- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team, as well as independently. -- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail. -- Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail. -- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. -- Excellent time and project management skills. -- Willing to travel as needed and other duties may be assigned. -- Maintain a valid drivers license.
