Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in
Warren, MI, is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide
direct support for students for the remainder of the current
semester, with the possibility of extending into the next school
year. This is an onsite contract position that offers the
opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational
experiences and developmental progress. Key Responsibilities: -
Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored
to students' individual needs within the school setting. -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to
create and implement effective therapy plans. - Monitor and
document student progress and adjust treatment strategies
accordingly. - Support the development of fine motor skills,
sensory processing, and functional abilities to improve academic
performance and daily school activities. - Ensure compliance with
Michigan state licensure requirements and school policies.
Qualifications: - Must hold an active Michigan license for
Occupational Therapy. - Experience working with K-12 students in a
school environment. - Strong understanding of educational and
developmental challenges faced by children. - Ability to work
effectively onsite within a school setting. - Excellent
communication and collaboration skills to engage with students,
families, and school staff. Location: Warren, MI Type: Contract
