Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An Occupational
Therapist opportunity is available in East Lansing, MI, providing
comprehensive services to K-12 students within a school setting.
This full-time, contract position offers a caseload of
approximately 40 center-based students with significant needs,
ranging in age from 3 to 26 years. The role involves collaborating
closely with another full-time on-site Occupational Therapist to
support student development and participation. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver evaluation, treatment, and consultation
services tailored to individual student needs. Collaborate with
educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and
implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide
intervention strategies to enhance student participation and
function within the school environment. Maintain accurate
documentation in compliance with school district and state
regulations. Support transition planning and related services for
students with diverse developmental challenges. Qualifications and
Experience: Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license is
required. Prior experience working in a school setting is highly
preferred. Strong knowledge of best practices in pediatric
occupational therapy and school-based interventions. Ability to
work effectively as part of a team with other professionals and
families. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location and Schedule: Position is located in East Lansing, MI.
Full-time contract role, 35 hours per week. Start date as soon as
possible, through June 3, 2026. This position offers the chance to
