Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Provide nursing care for cardiac surgery patients recovering from CABG, valve surgery, or heart transplant procedures • Care for post-operative lung surgery patients including those who have had wedge resections, lobectomies, or double lung transplants • Manage other patient populations including esophagectomies, bronchial valve procedures, EP lab patients, Cath lab patients, and general cardiology patients • Help patients transition toward discharge following major surgical procedures • Work in a teamwork-oriented stepdown unit environment • Provide specialized post-operative care for complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical patients Facility: This medical center specializes in advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services, providing comprehensive care for patients undergoing complex heart and lung procedures.
