Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology,
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who
do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a Radiologic Technologist skilled in Imaging and
X-ray techniques, available for a 13-week contract in Sterling
Heights, MI. The role requires fluency in Fluoroscopy (particularly
GI exams), outpatient, and ER imaging procedures. Candidates must
hold ARRT-R and BLS certifications, possess a minimum of two years
experience, and have familiarity with EPIC technology. Schedule:
7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Every 3rd weekend from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30
p.m. Beginning May 18th, shift changes to 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
for all hours Must work holiday shifts Responsibilities include
performing radiologic exams ordered by physicians under Radiologist
supervision, positioning patients correctly, and selecting
appropriate imaging techniques to ensure quality diagnostic
results. You will explain procedures to patients, prepare rooms and
equipment, administer contrast media when necessary, and adhere
strictly to radiation safety protocols. Additional duties involve
maintaining records and documentation, troubleshooting image
quality issues in PACS, completing Radiology Information System
indexing, and collaborating with Radiologists on clinical
protocols. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication
skills, a positive and professional approach, and a commitment to
patient safety and confidentiality. Mentoring of new hires and
