Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology,
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who
do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is ideal for an experienced Radiologic Technologist
skilled in Fluoroscopy with a strong background in outpatient and
emergency room imaging. You will perform radiologic procedures
under the direction of a Radiologist, ensuring high standards of
patient care and image quality at every step. The role requires
proficiency in EPIC technology and compliance with ARRT-R and BLS
certifications. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct radiologic exams,
including fluoroscopy (GI procedures), outpatient, and ER imaging
with precision and care - Explain procedures to patients and
prepare them effectively for examinations - Analyze anatomical
structures and apply appropriate radiographic techniques -
Administer intravenous contrast media when required, monitoring for
any adverse reactions - Follow radiation safety protocols to
minimize exposure, utilizing shielding and ALARA principles -
Maintain sterile equipment and uphold infection control measures -
Complete all documentation accurately in radiology and medical
record systems, including PACS and RIS - Assist in training new
hires and students while fulfilling daily responsibilities -
Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and professionalism
following department standards Qualifications and Desired
Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic
Technologist or X-ray Tech - Fluency in fluoroscopy procedures,
especially gastrointestinal studies, plus outpatient and ER imaging
- Current ARRT-R and BLS certifications - Familiarity with EPIC and
Radiology Information Systems - Strong attention to detail and
clinical judgment skills Schedule and Location: - Located in Ann
Arbor, MI - Initial hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with every 3rd
weekend shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - Schedule adjustment
starting May 18th to 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on all shifts - Must be
available for holiday shifts Ann Arbor is a vibrant community known
