Job Description Job Description We are seeking qualified candidates for Full-Time and Part-time LPNs or RNs to staff our Madison Heights Location. Various shifts are available - Mondays – 7am-7:30pm Wednesday-Friday – 7pm-7:30am Contingent – pick up open shifts Personalized Nursing LIGHT House is now hiring several SUD Nurses that will provide support for residents in treatment for PNLH preference for candidates with training in, and experience with, providing trauma related services.“ We take affirmative efforts to hire individuals with disabilities, including those in recovery”. Responsibilities: Monitor the medical status of all persons served (via vitals, monitor medications, periodic observations of persons served, special attention to detox withdrawal symptoms). Conduct individual health assessments for each client that enters STR, with a nursing care plan developed (day shift LPN primary responsible). Observe & monitor the client’s vital signs, physical and emotional status using the CIWA assessment form. Monitor client in self-administration of medications for relief of symptoms. Maintain accurate medication log. Engage client in conversations regarding treatment readiness, hopefulness, and strategies to achieve and maintain a clean, sober lifestyle Responsible to document all behaviors, physical symptoms, and observations of clients during shifts, according to clinical protocols, including critical incidents. Develop rapport and a professional therapeutic relationship with clients. Facilitate client-centered, engaging intake process. Coordinate client’s arrival to detox program; provide program orientation, establish a therapeutic relationship, and gather initial information and paperwork from the client. Responsible for knowing and adhering to the health and safety policies. Assist in maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe environment for clients by taking the initiative in household cleaning, meal preparation/clean-up, laundry, and minor household repair. Perform all other related and/or assigned tasks by management. Qualifications: Minimum requirement of LPN; RN preferred. Excellent people skills; demonstrating healthy, appropriate boundaries with clients. Moderate computer skills.
