As a Nursing Operations Manager, you will support the growth, development and advancement of nurses through their career, allowing you to make a difference in the lives of both patients and caregivers at a leadership level. A caregiver in this role works nights from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekend and holiday requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role will: - Identify and ensure appropriate placement, facilitation and expedition of all patient flow transactions, including direct and emergency patient admissions and transfers, in accordance with established clinical standards and knowledge of disease entities. - Address significant patient issues throughout the house and communicate with relevant leaders. - Handle staffing needs and make modifications, if necessary, to ensure equitable staffing arrangements throughout the hospital. - Manage the patient experience trans-organizationally to optimize all resources to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Three years of experience in an acute care setting - Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - One year of management experience Physical Requirements: - Frequent walking, standing, sitting. - Manual dexterity, corrected vision, hand and eye coordination. - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. - Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Personal Protective Equipment: - Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $37.50 Maximum hourly: $57.60 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
