This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that both patient outcomes and staff performance meet the high standards set by Encompass Health Corporation. The Nurse Supervisor will collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams to enhance patient care while also focusing on compliance with regulatory and company policies. Oversee daily operations of nursing staff across multiple units. Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to healthcare regulations and standards. Mentor and train new nurses, fostering professional development and growth. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient treatment plans and outcomes. Implement policy updates and ensure compliance across departments. Manage nursing schedules, staff assignments, and administrative duties. Monitor patient care for quality assurance and efficiency. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management systems and EHR Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or similar leadership certification preferred
