Neurological Surgery - Physician at DMC Adult Central Campus - Tenet Healthcare summary: This position is for a board-certified/board-eligible fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon providing both general neurosurgery and spine procedures in Detroit, MI. The role involves clinical and surgical duties across multiple hospital facilities with support from ancillary staff, and participation in a neuro critical care fellowship program is encouraged. Tenet Healthcare along with DMC Medical Group is actively seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon for a full-time, employed opportunity in Detroit, MI. We have a newly appointed, fully accredited, Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program to support our neurosciences programs. What to Expect / Key Responsibilities: Mix of General NS and Spine procedures Typical schedule: 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 OR/Procedure/Call days per week Shared call with 3 providers – 8 NPs to assist with inpatient rounds 24/7 Specialized Equipment/Resources: PACs on site – attached to hospital Working mainly out of the DMC Neurosurgery clinic downtown at Harper Hospital (ACC), Sinai-Grace and Huron Valley Supportive ancillary staff available Hospital privileges at all 5 DMC facilities A willingness to participate in research is welcomed.
