Job Description:
The Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSU SOM)
Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases is
currently seeking a faculty member at the Assistant or Associate
Professor level (salary determined by qualifications and experience
of successful candidate) on the clinical-educator track. The
Infectious Diseases program is a collaborative effort between Wayne
Health (WH) and WSU SOM. As a member of WH, the physician will
participate in the clinical activities of the division including
rounding on the Infectious Diseases inpatient service and staffing
outpatient clinics. As a faculty member of WSU SOM, research
opportunities will be available through the Department of Internal
Medicine and the successful candidate will be responsible for
teaching medical students, and residents. Wayne State University
