Neurological Surgery - Physician at DMC Adult Central Campus - Tenet Healthcare summary: A fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon is sought for a full-time employed position at Detroit Medical Center, performing a mix of general neurosurgery and spine procedures with a typical weekly schedule balancing clinic and operating room days. Tenet Healthcare along with DMC Medical Group is actively seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon for a full-time, employed opportunity in Detroit, MI. We have a newly appointed, fully accredited, Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program to support our neurosciences programs. What to Expect / Key Responsibilities: Mix of General NS and Spine procedures Typical schedule: 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 OR/Procedure/Call days per week Shared call with 3 providers – 8 NPs to assist with inpatient rounds 24/7 Specialized Equipment/Resources: PACs on site – attached to hospital Working mainly out of the DMC Neurosurgery clinic downtown at Harper Hospital Supportive ancillary staff available Hospital privileges at all 5 DMC facilities A willingness to participate in research is welcomed.
