Job Description:
Summary/Objective: Primary job responsibility is supervision of
consumer’s behavioral health needs for center-based and home- based
treatment along with training the Classroom Instructor and
supporting supervision, training and evaluation of the Behavior
Technicians on behavior analytic interventions. Essential Functions

Functions: Conducting skill assessments and educational assessments
as directed by the Clinic Director or Educational Development
Manager. Developing and monitoring individualized treatment in
coordination with the consumer’s alternative funding, outside of
the individual’s education plan. Assessing consumers if they are
not making progress toward educational goals as reported by the
Classroom Instructor or directed by the Clinic Director. Conducting
intensive pull-out sessions for individualized treatment to make
rapid behavioral change as necessary and deemed medically
necessary. Assessing, developing and monitoring appropriate
treatment for home-based instruction and train parents and staff.
Establishing and monitoring the progress of treatment goals through
Autism Web Tech or other data collection methods for intensive
treatment sessions and home programming. Assessing challenging
behavior as reported by the Classroom Instructor or directed by the
Clinic Director. Tasks include but are not limited to conducting
descriptive assessments and/or experimental assessments, developing
behavior function-based support plans, monitoring the
implementation of behavior support plans, and presenting data and
recommendations for possible changes at supervisory meetings with
Clinic Director. Behavior support plans include individualized
behavior reduction plans, classroom/group contingencies, toileting
plans, and eating plans. All behavior support plans will be
function-based and include preventatives, replacement behaviors,
schedules of reinforcement and reactive strategies. Educating and
training all staff on behavior support plans and general classroom
management techniques. Educating and training parents and other
providers (as applicable) on behavior support plans. Assisting
Clinic Coordinators and Behavior Technicians in day to day
operations including but not limited to supporting crisis
management, direct support of consumers, and leading instructional
groups when necessary. Additional responsibilities including but
not limited to: Monitoring and managing reports/reviews for
caseload quarterly and provide behavior support plan to the Case
Manager for parent meetings Attending parent quarterly reviews with
Case Manager as requested by families, Classroom Instructor or the
Clinic Director Referring appropriate situations and issues to the
team Case Manager. Communicating as a team to appropriately meet
consumer and family needs. Determining, requesting/coordinating,
delegating and distributing necessary supplies/materials for
treatment needs. Work with Clinic Director to develop and
coordinate staff training in behavioral teaching methods,
functional assessments, behavior measurement, data collection and
interpretation and other related areas. Conducting research studies
(descriptive or experimental designs) to further the field’s
research and present at local conferences Follow the designated
schedule of supervision per consumer on his/her caseload and submit
to Clinic Director, weekly. Each Behavior Analyst is required to
provide direct observation/overlapping of staff for 4 hours a month
for each consumer on his/her caseload. Providing training during
staff team meetings (one-on-one overlap, team teaching or in a
group) for behavior reduction plans and pull-out sessions for
individualized treatment. Monitoring and providing feedback on
procedural and professional growth of all Behavior Technicians.
Co-managing the administrative duties and safety of the building.
Receive, assist in development, and work towards goals developed by
the Clinic Director. Responsible for reading and following all
Boundless policy and procedures found in the Policy and Procedures
and/or employee handbook Responsible for following CARF, Mental
Health and Ohio Department of Education policies and procedures.
Responsible for following all trainings on other policies and
procedures that do not fall under the above two responsibilities.
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and communication
in the role of Behavior Analyst and a representative of Boundless.
Required Education and Experience: Must be in the process of
obtaining Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology,
Social work, Education or related field required BCBA certification
or expected to have BCBA certification upon 12 months of hire 3-5
years’ experience implementing/supervising ABA based educational
and behavioral programming and curriculum development Exemplary
data collection Proven training abilities (one-on-one overlap, team
teaching, or in a group) Demonstrated clinical knowledge of many
children with autism at different areas of the ASD spectrum
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exemplary
attendance and professionalism Additional Eligibility
Qualifications: Must be able to function independently and have
flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively
with residents, staff and support agencies. Must be able to relate
to and work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times
hostile people within the programs. Must possess the ability to
make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
