Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering outstanding patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting our dental team with preventive dental services. Key Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing) Examine patients for signs of oral disease, such as gingivitis or cavities Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) Apply fluoride and sealants to protect teeth Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Document patient care and treatment plans accurately Sterilize dental instruments and ensure operatory cleanliness Assist the dentist during procedures as needed Requirements: Valid Michigan Dental Hygienist License CPR certification Knowledge of dental software (e.g. Open Dental) is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Passion for patient education and preventive care Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $50 - $60 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
