Summary
The Manager of Leadership Development & Capabilities will manage
global leadership development and capability programs for all
associate levels of the business globally across all regions and
corporate functions - US, MX, EMEA, APAC. In addition to managing
vertical development which includes assessments, mentoring and
coaching programs. This role is also responsible for Carhartt's
leadership framework, competencies, and associate onboarding
experiences. The Manager of Leadership Development & Capabilities
serves as the global leadership and capability development
strategist by aligning development programs with businesses needs
for optimal performance.

Responsibilities
* Leads a team of Global Talent Management Partners responsible for
assessing, design, developing, implementing, and evaluating global
leadership, capability, and associate on-boarding programs
* Manages initiatives for Leadership Development and Capabilities
for all Carhartt associates
* Develops the strategic approach and roadmap for deploying
programs
* Manages and develops associate on-boarding experiences including
Carhartt's New Hire Orientation, New Leader Orientation, and New
Leader Integration, ensuring these programs are executed globally,
and driving continuous improvement to facilitate a best in class
on-boarding experience for Carhartt associates
* Designs and develops a leadership development framework used to
design leadership programs
* Oversees and manages needs analysis, development and execution of
leadership and capability development programs that support the
long term, strategic growth of the organization
* Collaborates with Learning Technologies Lead for data collection
and content management with a learning management system and
learning platforms
* Supports the vendor management process and partners with external
vendors to customize learning resources to support business
needs
* Manages the philosophy, use and execution of assessments used for
leadership development
* Gains alignment and collaboration with HR Business Partners on
initiatives or processes designed to support the business or
corporate strategy
* Works collaboratively with Talent Management Leads to execute
Leadership and Capability Development initiatives
* Ensures leadership programs are offered globally for each level
of leadership (i.e. self, others, business, and enterprise)
* Ensures methods, approaches and standards are leveraged to
measure and evaluate learning and development effectiveness and
impact (i.e. KPI's & ROI)
Education
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required in
Human Resources
* Master's Degree Preferred in Organizational Design or Related
Field
Required Skills and Experience
* 7 years or more experience working with Global Talent Management
programs and processes in a corporate or similar environment,
including the following:
* 1-3 years formal or related leadership experience
* Experience in mentoring and leadership coaching
* Experience in measurement and analysis of Global Talent
Management programs
* Knowledge of leadership/management/organizational development
assessments, protocols, change management strategies and
processes
* Proven coaching, advising and influence skills
* Strong expertise in program and change management
* Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills. Strong
experience and ability in SharePoint and Learning Design tools is
preferred
* Excellent written concise business language and oral
communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with
all global levels including senior leadership, corporate, retail
and supply chain leaders and associates
* Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to
prioritize workload and attention to detail

* Office Environment
* Willing to work some weekends if necessary
* Travel (25%)
* Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed
for work activities.
