Join us and improve the movement of people and goods while delivering an intuitive, enjoyable and trusted experience.What youll be able to do:We are looking for an Engineering Operations Manager that is passionate about software and cloud engineering, to build the next-gen data services - based on the latest big data and at-scale cloud technologies.You will be responsible for all areas within quality engineering at Ford, helping to build and oversee the testing organization and infrastructure for our products. You will improve and maintain essential software quality frameworks for software delivery:

  • Grow the team by attracting diverse talent that can push technical boundaries. Where individuals recognize that team success is more important than individual success.
  • Support, coach and develop high performing engineers through regular 1:1s and continuous feedback.
  • Mentor individuals to embrace diversity and help build an inclusive and flexible workplace.
  • Conduct performance reviews that are timely and constructive.
  • Complete ownership for preparing test automation solutions, designing automation frameworks, and leading the implementation of test strategies, test plans & test execution of the product. Set quality standards across engineering.
  • Deliver on product roadmaps, incrementally with a high level of quality.
  • Define and track test metrics, including code coverage, quality, and performance.
  • Provide leadership and technical direction throughout the organization focused on quality activities. Collaborate with product teams to plan & align long term solutions for test automation. Including roadmaps, tooling, frameworks, and approaches.Minimum Requirements we seek:
    • Bachelors degree
    • 3+ years of experience in software quality testing
    • 3+ years of experience in Devops or Software Automation Testing.Our Preferred Requirements:
      • A track record leading efforts to enhance and make the testing process more efficient.
      • Experience evaluating, selecting, and formulating best usage of test automation tools.
      • Strong in supporting engineers on challenges related to scalability, reliability, performance, and efficiency of systems.
      • Experience organizing and structuring engineering services to efficiently facilitate the performance of business operations. By focusing on ongoing, continuous improvement, product, and process development.
