Job Description Job Description Construction Mechanics Inc (CMI) is looking for full time HVAC Service Techs in the Elyria area. Must have a valid Driver's License. Responsibilities: Diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems (residential and/or commercial) Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups Install and replace equipment, components, and parts (motors, compressors, coils, thermostats, etc.) Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Provide clear communication to customers regarding repairs, options, and costs Complete service tickets and documentation accurately Follow all safety procedures, industry standards, and company policies Qualifications: Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting EPA 608 certification required (Type II or Universal preferred) Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions What We Offer: Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off and holidays Year-round work with stable scheduling Ongoing training and certification opportunities How to Apply: You can reply to this ad or send your resume to Frank@constructionmechanics.com
