Job Description:
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing
industry, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join their
team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be an essential part of
the Maintenance Department supporting the plant operations. The
ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention
to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully
within the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location:
Brook Park, OH Pay Range: $27.50/hr. plus $.50/hr. diff. Shift: 4th
shift 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Thu-Sun What's the Job? Install and
troubleshoot industrial machine control systems including 3-wire
and PLC controls. Install, repair, and diagnose both AC & DC
motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 volts.
Maintain mechanical power transmission drives and related systems
such as gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and pulleys, as well
as pneumatic equipment like compressors, blowers, and valves.
Support general facility plumbing, carpentry work, and the plant’s
preventive maintenance system. Assist with the setup, change-over,
and disassembly of breader mills, scalper, and sifter equipment,
along with unloading bulk rail materials and ensuring proper
hook-up of bulk-material trucks. What's Needed? Experience in
installing and troubleshooting industrial control systems,
including PLC controls. Ability to repair and diagnose AC & DC
motors and power systems up to 480 volts. Knowledge of mechanical
power transmission systems and pneumatic equipment. Proficiency in
handling basic hand and power tools, test equipment, and operating
a forklift. Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate a
