Job Description:

This is an on-site role in Dearborn, MI*Day to Day:Insight Global is looking for a Jr. Controls Engineer local to Memphis, TN. This individual will be joining the IT Plant & Launch Management team for a large Automotive OEM client. This person should be driven, reliable, with a solid base of technical skills, and should have a passion for the Automotive industry.Specific responsibilities include:

PLC programming
Robotics & Automation
Troubleshooting of hardware & software
Networking
Installations & configurationsQualifications:
- BS in related field of study
- Prior Automotive or Manufacturing/Plant industry experience
- Baseline of technical skills:
- PLC programming
- Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell robotics experience
- Hardware, software, or networking experiencePreferred:
  - HMI experience
  - Ladder logic experience(PLC)
  - Experience with embedded systems
