vehicles.What you'll be able to do:* Lead problem solving to assist
plants and implementation teams in resolving tooling, equipment and
conveyor performance issues and downtime* Coordinate resources to
find root cause and fixes, manage and breakdown problems into items
that can be validated. Determine proper validation methods* Handle
setup and maintenance of industrial bar code printers* Utilize
sound knowledge design and implement vision control systems.
Familiar with different type of vision cameras and their programing
software. Continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for
quality and delivery* Use FIS plant monitoring software to review
cycle times of equipment, review and follow up project
installations* Reprogram equipment for engineering changes and
improvements* Update program backups for machinery and automation*
Program new installations of automation, machinery, material
handling, and robots* As part of a team, review risk assessments
and evaluate equipment safety* Assist in training manufacturing
personnel and plant electricians* Read and modify electrical prints
and schematics, Auto CAD* Maintain familiarity with OA, CPN/MPN
networks and communication protocols for connecting to wireless and
wired networks* Manage installation and maintenance of virus
protection software for controls network PCs, perform PC backup
disc images and installation of communication and firmware and
controls software* Work overtime and weekends as the need arisesThe
minimum requirements we seek:* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical,
Automation, Testing, or Controls Engineering* 2 or more years of
Controls Engineering experience (internship and coop experience
will be considered?)Our preferred requirements:* Electrical
background (electrician or technician) preferred* Familiar with
PLC/CNC (Siemens/ Allen-Bradley), VFD, Servo, Profinet, ABB and
FANUC Robots* Solid understanding of laser burning* Demonstrated
ability to read blueprints, modify electrical schematics and use
AutoCAD* Validated ability to troubleshoot equipment and
continuously evaluate for process improvements* Experience with
conveyor system programming and overhead Gantry* Solid
understanding of networking to include DH+, Ethernet and remote IO*
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience* Lean Tools - 5S,
Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping experience* Understanding
of 8D, FMEA, and DMAIC processes* Familiar with TQM and Kaizen
methods* One or more years of experience with MS Office
(Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)* Knowledge of simulation modeling
