Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in
the Chattanooga area, this full-time contract position seeks
experienced professionals skilled in school psychology to support
elementary-aged students (K-5) across multiple schools within the
district. The role begins January 5, 2026, and continues through
May 21, 2026, providing essential psychological services for the
school year. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive
psychological evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility
Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings for
special education planning Develop and implement Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student requirements Design
and monitor behavior intervention plans to support positive student
outcomes Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
to address student challenges Manage caseload within elementary
school settings, with minor travel required between assigned
schools Qualifications: Active Tennessee Department of Education
(TN DOE) certification in school psychology Commitment to a
full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week; part-time candidates not
considered Experience working with elementary-level students (K-5)
preferred Strong understanding of educational and behavioral
assessment tools Ability to handle multiple school assignments
