In the role of Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring that our properties are not only well-maintained but also safe and comfortable for our residents. You will be tasked with a variety of maintenance duties, responding efficiently to service requests, and performing general repairs. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on apartment units and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and ensure timely and quality resolution. Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents by completing necessary repairs and cleaning. Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies and tools. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions. Support the maintenance team as needed and contribute to team meetings. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field. Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and basic HVAC maintenance. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to participate in on-call maintenance rotations as required.
