Angott Search Group is partnering with a nearly $300 million community bank in Michigan to identify an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to support continued growth across Oakland, Wayne, and Eastern Livingston counties. This role is focused on developing new commercial banking relationships, expanding existing client partnerships, and generating revenue through loans, deposits, and treasury management solutions. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a strong network of internal and external business partners. Originate and grow commercial lending relationships within Oakland, Wayne, and Eastern Livingston counties. Manage an existing commercial loan portfolio while maintaining sound credit quality and operational standards. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting. Expand and retain commercial banking relationships by providing comprehensive financial solutions. Prepare and present loan packages and credit requests for approval. Participate in community and industry events to promote the bank and strengthen local relationships. Cross-sell deposit, treasury management, and other banking services to deepen client relationships. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. 5 years of Commercial Lending experience. Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills. Demonstrated business development and relationship management experience. SBA lending experience preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills. Solid understanding of banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
